ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hi! I'm Madison Lanier, a New York based photographer specializing in portraiture and fashion photography. I graduated from Arizona State University with a BFA in digital photography and I'm currently pursuing a MFA in photography at Parsons School of Design.

 

I grew up in Streetsboro, Ohio where my journey as an artist began. Back home, I didn't have a studio or professional equipment, but that didn't stop me from creating! Most of my studio portraits were done by transforming tiny spaces into the perfect places to shoot.

My goal as an artist is to create a safe space for others to feel empowered and confident in front of the camera. I believe in the importance of embracing your individuality and owning the moment.
